Those little humans have a knack for keeping us up at night. It seems like every other hour, I'm jolted awake by the sound of whimpers. Is it a nightmare? A tummy ache? Just needing some love?
I try to be patient. After all, they require their sleep for learning, and I wouldn't want to disrupt that. But sometimes, when the clock is ticking past midnight and my own eyelids feel heavy, I can't help but mutter about those sleepless nights.
I wouldn't trade it for the world though. Those moments, even in the dead of night, are filled with a magical kind of love that only a parent can understand.
